WORLD
SOCIETY FOR EKISTICS
The initiative for the foundation of the
World Society for Ekistics took place during the Delos Symposion 1965
(Delos Three), which was convened by C.A.Doxiadis
and the Athens Center of Ekistics. The Steering Committee consisted of
participants from the Delos Symposia, who held a series of meetings in
The Society is an international
non-governmental organization (NGO) in consultative
status with the United Nations (ECOSOC).
